Heraldry is
primarily about the business of
identity; the armorial
bearings (Coats of Arms)
featured on these pages
represent their owners and,
although there is no secret
heraldic code behind the images
portrayed, many tell their own
story. They all have a special
place in the hearts of the
armiger concerned and they are a
lasting memorial to the original
grantee.
All
registrations now being
accepted for The Armorial
Register - International
Register of Arms Will be
included in Volume 4.
All registrations are
published both in our
Online Armorial (The
Register), and will be
included in a quality hard
backed publication of Volume
4.
Copies
of all publications are
deposited in The British
Library and other
International Libraries on
request. The Armorial
Register Website, is
archived twice every year by The
British Library UK Web Archive http://www.webarchive.org.uk
This means that a complete
record of the website and all
changes to its content will be
recorded. Thus building a
permanent picture of the site’s
development and expanding
content for years to come.
Volume
4 of The Register will
be a matching book to the
published
Volume
1 (Registrations 1-183),Volume
2 (Registrations 184-366) and
Volume 3 (Registrations
367-549)
building a fully
illustrated record of
contemporary Coats of Arms used
internationally.
