The
shield is divided
horizontally into
two equal parts,
with the top
(chief) being blue
(Azure) and the
bottom (base) red
(Gules), colours
represent loyalty
and strength,
bravery, and
valour,
respectively.
In the upper
section of the
shield, there is
an open book in
silver (Argent)
with gold (Or)
bindings. This
book, reflects the
family's history
and the Bible,
signifies the act
of keeping both
faith and the
written record of
the family's
lineage and
achievements. The
golden bindings
symbolize the
precious and
enduring nature of
the family's
commitments across
generations.
On the book lies a
blue (of the
First, referring
back to Azure)
five-pointed star
(mullet),
signifying the
family’s devotion
to the Holy Mary
and her guiding
light,
illuminating a
shared path
through
generations.

In
the lower section,
between two apples,
stands a tree,
representing growth and
the idea of planting
today for tomorrow’s
harvest. The apples,
fallen from the tree,
hold the symbol of
wisdom gained and the
importance of always
keeping learning from
the past to forge the
present and pass down
for the future.
Enclosing
the central elements of
the shield is a
battlement-shaped
bordure (embattled),
representing the
fortified and protected
home as symbol of family
dignity. Moreover, the
commitment of each
generation to defend and
uphold it.
The
armiger's family
originates in the
Spanish and Basque
regions of Europe. His
