The arms of Dr
                                              Salvatore Cantarella
The arms adopted by Salvatore Cantarella are intended to represent both personal identity and the values traditionally associated with European heraldry.

The shield is Azure (blue), a colour historically associated with loyalty, wisdom and dedication to service. It represents the pursuit of knowledge and the commitment to professional and personal integrity.

The principal charge is a lion rampant Or (gold). The lion has long been one of the most significant figures in heraldry and symbolises courage, strength, vigilance and leadership. In this context the lion represents determination, moral strength and the responsibility of guiding others through knowledge and experience.

Below the lion are three golden keys conjoined. The key is a symbol of solutions/knowledge. The three keys represent guardianship, knowledge, and the ability to unlock, open, or solve problems. Being conjoined, they provide balance; three is a perfect number even in numerology

Above the lion appears two eight-pointed stars Argent (silver) placed in chief. The star traditionally symbolises guidance, illumination and aspiration toward higher ideals. The eight points signify balance, completeness and the pursuit of enlightenment. In the context of these arms it represents knowledge, learning and the search for truth.

The shield is ensigned by a ducal coronet issuing therefrom a phoenix enflamed illustrating rebirth from its own ashes.
The mantling of Azure doubled Or reflects the principal colours of the arms and follows traditional heraldic conventions.

The motto “Scientia et Fortitudo” (Knowledge and Strength) summarises the meaning of the arms. It expresses the union of intellectual pursuit and personal courage, suggesting that knowledge must be accompanied by strength of character and determination in order to serve others effectively.

Together these elements form a coherent heraldic composition intended to represent honour, learning, responsibility and resilience
