The
double headed Swan is the
armiger's personal emblem,
both heads representing
each of his paternal and
maternal sides of the
family; the swan displayed
represents loyalty, grace
and continuity and thus a
sense of honour and
reverence for his
predecessors.
The Azure field represents
the endless possibilities
of life, blue is the only
colour that can reflect,
as exemplified by water
and the light coming from
the sky. The two mullets
and their reflections are
eight pointed as each
point represents one
letter of the Armiger's
first name, the stars
themselves represents
again the armiger's deep
attachment to his Family
history combined with his
own ambitions always
shining and standing out
in his mind.
The fess represents the
sun setting, like all
problems eventually fading
away alongside the
positivity that can come
before or after such
hardships. The Swan could
therefore be interpreted
as the sun, reaching it's
feet unto the reflection
of the audacious visions
and rising towards the
accomplishments of the
armiger's dreams and
desires in the lifelong
attempt at shaping them
into reality and legacy.
The crest represents the
Armiger's passions for
heraldry, shown by the
tabard; genealogy,
represented by one tree,
referencing the
genealogical tree and the
environment represented by
the more literal physical
representation of the
tree. As the armiger grew
up with trees in his back
garden and always felt a
particular attachment to
them. Both genealogy and
nature hold the tree as
their core structure as
both encompass life. The
savage symbolises the
Armigers' idiosyncratic
and rather unusual
ways.
The escutcheon on each of
the trees is a direct
depiction of the shield
differenced with six
pointed mullets
representing each letter
of the Armigers parents'
names; the shields can
thus be interpreted as his
parents' shared heraldic
badge. The tabard here
doesn't include the swan
as it is the tabard of the
original arms of the
Armiger when he was
starting to explore the
world of heraldry and
family history, in other
words, when his ambitions
were being built. The
symbolism on both the
tabard and the escutcheon
however largely stays the
same as on the main
shield.
The arms are thus a
reminder to the Armiger
that dreams never fade
away, it's just putting
them into practice that
can, and that consistency,
perseverance, audacity and
imagination is everything.
