                                                Thomas Fabin

The ermine of the shield denotes a connection with the Scottish clan Henderson. The fleurs-de-lis symbolize "upward and onward" an attitude of determination despite adversity. The heart of gold is an In Memoriam to the armiger's late mother and symbolizes passion, compassion, and empathy; virtues embodied by the armiger's late mother and subsequently passed to him. The trefoils are a nod to the armiger's Irish ancestry and also represent his interest in DNA and genealogy.

The lion in the crest is borrowed from the Welsh house of Aberffraw and is a nod to his Welsh ancestors and to his direct male-line connection with the Isle of Anglesey. The books symbolize the armiger's love of learning and history. The thistle is a nod to the armiger's Scottish ancestry and represents his love of traditional Scottish music; the armiger is a Bagpiper.
