The Arms of Mark
                                                Windsor

The charges are reflective of two branches of the armiger’s paternal family, and date back to the mid-16th century. The colours come from one branch of the armiger’s maternal family. The chevron signifies protection and the three crosses crosslet signify the trinity with the crosslet portion of the crosses represent the twelve apostles. The Crosses crosslet also represent the armigers three inheritors. The bear comes from the armiger’s maternal family, and has been a known heraldic image for many generations.
