The Arms of Staff
                                                Sergeant Jeremy Cole
                                                Neureuter

As a native of California and after a lengthy career in the United States Army the armiger's arms succinctly reflect his heritage and career.

Serving three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan the armiger's final rank of Staff Sergeant is easily depicted heraldically by the gold chevronels on a green field as is his service with the 82nd Airborne Division by miniature black parachutes in a Bordure Argent. Again, alluding to his military career and his upbringing in California, Staff Sergeant Neureuter has a depiction of California Poppies in their natural colour arranged as a reverse chevron.

The armiger's California roots are also reflected in the crest by the Tenné Hippocampus holding a bunch of grapes in reference to his upbringing in the wine growing region of Sonoma County, while the brandished sword is yet another reference to his military career.

The motto (translated into I am the Beginning and the End) taken from the Latin vulgate of the bible at once suggests the motto of a solider but also is a subtle reference to the armiger's love of Omega watches whose "Seamaster" line utilizes a Hippocampus as its symbol.
