The
arms are a tribute to
three members of the
Hitt family. The
armiger’s deceased
father, who achieved the
rank of captain in the
U.S. Army, his son (Tom)
who achieved the rank of
Sergeant in the U.S.
Marines, and the armiger
himself, a medically
retired U.S. Army
Private who served in
the Korean War. The
stars are presented in
honour of the armigers
five descendents.
The crest represents
part of the armiger’s
lineage and his lifelong
interest in hunting.
