The Arms of
                                                Nathaniel Scott Bendel

The tree is a representation of the armiger's faith, love of genealogy, and the importance he places on family. The starlings reflect his family's love of musical pursuits.

The demi-Grizzly Bear in the crest honours the armiger’s roots and military service in California. The quill is a reference to his career in telecommunications. The combined symbolism of the Grizzly with a quill represents the armigers firm belief that, while one may possess the means to wage war, diplomacy is always a more noble endeavour.
