David Willien, Baron of Tulloch

Registered: The International Register of Arms, 22nd Nov. 2018. Registration No. 0470 (Vol.3). (Lordship & Barony Register)

Arms: Azure, a sword palewise Proper hilted and pommelled Or the pommel charged with a cross Sable, surmounted of two engrailed chevronels, in chief two fleur-de-lis of the Second.
Mantling: Azure doubled Or.

Crest: A lion sejant and winged Or, its dexter paw resting on an open Bible Proper binding and fore-edged Gules with two open clasps on the dexter edge Or.

Motto: Invia Virtuti Nulla Est Via.

Pennon: 120 centimetres in length or thereby of two tracts of the liveries Azure and Or with the arms in the hoist bearing his motto “INVIA VIRTUTI NULLA EST VIA” in two lines counterchanged, the said Pennon being limited to the armiger and his heirs successors in the said armorial bearings.

Grant: Entered on the 46th page of the 94th Volume of the “Public Register of All Arms and Bearings in Scotland” on 10th day of February 2020.

By Certificate recorded in the Land Register of Scotland of date November 15, 2018 the armiger is infeft in All and Whole the lands known as Brick House Land, said lands including the caput of the barony of Tulloch. The Barony of Tulloch is registered in the Scottish Barony Register of date 20th January 2017 (Volume 3, Folios 115-116).

Dr. David Willien, Baron of Tulloch, born at Saint Louis, Haut-Rhin, France, educated at the University of Fribourg (Licencia Docendi), and University of Lorraine (Doctor of Theology), Auditor of L’Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale (IHEDN), Member of L’Academie des Sciences, Belles Lettres et Arts d’Angers, Member of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland (FSA Scot). The armiger has an entry as a Scottish feudal baron in Burke's Peerage.
