Arms: Or, on a fess embattled Azure between in chief two boar’s heads erased and in base a boar passant Sable armed and langued Gules, five cross crosslets of the Field.

Crest: Issuing from an antique crown Or, a demi-bull Azure winged, armed and unglued Or, resting its sinister hoof on a plate charged of a martlet Sable.

The armiger is married to Annette Earnshaw (m. 28th April 1962) and has two children. He was educated at St. George’s Preparatory School and Queen Elizabeth College, Jersey.

The Baron of Braemar is the The Duke of Bolnisi (Granted by Prince Davit of Georgia); Grand Cross Order Of The Eagle (Georgia); Commander of the Order of St. John; Holder of the Order of the Polar Star (Mongolia); Hereditary Cavaleiro of the Royal House of Braganza of Portugal; Grand Cross of the Order of St. Michael of the Wing of the Royal House of Portugal; Grand Cross of the Order of the Royal House of Portugal; Knight of the Imperial Order St Anna (Russia) and Freeman of The City of London.

He is a Company Director and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland; a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts; Member, of The Heraldry Society of Scotland; Member of the Scottish Record Society; Fellow, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International; Patron, Duke of Edinburgh’s Charter Award; Almoner and Trustee of the Order of St. John (cymru) Wales; Director, Burnley Football Club; Trustee, Burnley Community Sports Trust; President, William Smith International Performance Scholarship 2003-07; Principal Regional Support Advisor, Order of St. John 2007 and has, since the year 2005, been the President of the Commonwealth Judo Association.
