                                              Charles Brown, Baron of
                                              Lintrathen
Baronial title registered in the Scottish Barony Register on 15th June 2020, Volume 5 folios 11-13 (Barony of Lintrathen).

The fleur-de-lis is traditionally found on the Brown coat of arms, and the star of Texas is representative of the place in which the armiger was born and currently lives. Gules represents his military background (LTC -Army-Retired ) and Or represents his attainment of a B.A., M.Ed., and Ph.D.

The armiger celebrates his heritage via various Scottish lines originating from Dunfries, Inverness, Ayrshire, Perthshire, Fife, Renfrewshire, and Lanarkshire. He is able to trace his lineage back to Lanarkshire where his family descends from Sir Symon (Simon) Locard and later Sir Robert Lockhart, Baron of Lee Castle. From some of his earliest memories he can recall his genealogist grandmother sharing the history of the eventual change in the surname of Lockhard (Locard) to Lockhart. All of this is a heritage of which he is very thankful.
