                                              Silva Pinto-Correia

The Franciscan Tau represents the armiger's faith and the Saint Francis of Assisi to whom he is devoted, while the Torii gate represent the armiger's connection and affinity to Japanese culture, traditions and way of life.

These connections are again represented in the crest, where the cat symbolises not only the Japanese Maneki Neko (bringer of good luck), but also the armiger's love for animals and the love that Francis of Assisi had for nature. The banner held by the crest's cat references, indirectly, the coat of arms of his maternal grandmother's village to which the armiger's has been connected since his childhood.

Martim Silva Pinto-Correia was born in 1993 in Funchal (Madeira, Portugal) to Jorge Maurício Pinto-Correia and Isabel Maria Salvado Silva Pinto-Correia.

The armiger holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Human Resources.
