The
blackbird, which in
Italian is called a
'Merola' ( from the
Latin 'Merulus',
blackbird) is a cant on
the name of the armiger.
The tower is taken from
the coat of arms of the
city of origin of the
applicant and two
estoiles represent a
symbol of prosperity and
good fortune. The Latin
Motto, which means
"until breath, I hope"
is the armiger’s
crowning ideal of good
fortune desired.
The
Armiger is a Knight of
Merit of the Sacred
Military Costantinian
Order of Saint George
and a Knight of the Holy
Sepulchre.
