Arms: Or a lion rampant gules between in chief two ermine spots sable and in base a Celtic cross vert.

Crest: A dexter hand erect couped at the wrist grasping a sword in bend sinister point upwards all proper, mantled gules doubled argent.

Motto:
Virtus Sola Nobilitas (Virtue is the only nobility)

Grant: The Chief Herald of Ireland, Volume W, folio 89, Dublin, Ireland, 14th July 1989.

The armiger is a fellow (FACH) and treasurer of The American College of Heraldry. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland (FRSAI) and of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland (FSA Scot).  

He is a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV), The American Legion, the Military Officers Association of America, The Sovereign Military Order of Malta, and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.

The arms are a variation of the ancient arms of The O'Dwyer of Kilnamanagh, Ireland.
