The armorial bearings
                                              of John Brady

These arms were designed to be borne by the descendants of Christopher Joseph Parnell Brady & Estella Amelia Arigho.

The basis for the design is taken from the taken from traditional Brady Arms (including those as recorded by the Ulster King of Arms, Dublin) and the hound’s head is inspired by the Arms of Caneggio (Azure, a brach hound’s head couped Argent i.e. Blue with Silver Hound’s Head). The three in number refers to the three generations back to the Alps signified by the background for the Arigho side. There are also three generations back to the Drumlins (small round-headed hills) of County Cavan on the Brady side.

Genealogy:

Christopher Joseph Parnell BRADY, born 1912, son of John BRADY, born 1864, son of Patrick BRADY, born 1835 in County Cavan, Ireland. (“Drumlin Country”)

Estella Amelia ARIGHO, born c. 1919, daughter of Renaldo ARIGHO, born 1887, son of Louis ARIGHO, born 1843 in Caneggio, Switzerland. (“From the Alps”)

Christopher and Estella were married in Dublin on September 30th 1940.

The Brady family is from County Cavan, Ireland and the Arigho family is from Caneggio, Switzerland.

The Irish motto translates to “From Drumlins & the Alps”; Droimíní  is Irish for a small round-headed hill.
