The
armiger was born in
Murcia (Spain) in 1969.
He graduated in law
(1992) and in Social
Anthropology (2013); and
he is a lawyer. He is
also an academic in the
fields of heraldry,
nobility, genealogy and
State and Royal reward
systems. The armiger is
descended from Alonzo
Bermexo, who was a
knight at the conquest
of the city of Toro
(1482) and has a noble
lineage from Fernandez
Briceio of Santo Domingo
de la Calzada.
The
motto means that all
glory is fleeting and
that the only glory
belongs to God: it
serves as a reminder
that man is only mortal
(memento mori).
