The armiger was born in Murcia (Spain) in 1969. He graduated in law (1992) and in Social Anthropology (2013); and he is a lawyer. He is also an academic in the fields of heraldry, nobility, genealogy and State and Royal reward systems. The armiger is descended from Alonzo Bermexo, who was a knight at the conquest of the city of Toro (1482) and has a noble lineage from Fernandez Briceio of Santo Domingo de la Calzada.

The motto means that all glory is fleeting and that the only glory belongs to God: it serves as a reminder that man is only mortal (memento mori).
