Arms:  Azure, a bar Or between in chief a comet of the second and in base a rose Gules barbed Vert seeded Or fimbriated Argent.

Crest: Upon a Helm with a Wreath Or and Azure, in front of a sheaf of five arrows inverted a yoke all Gules. Mantled Azure doubled Or.

Motto: Summa Est Imago Mea.

Badge: A sword inverted Argent, hilted Or, pommelled Argent, the quillons extended in the shape of two oval pommels and in the centre charged with an inverted Latin cross all Or; the blade: inscribed with the motto VIRTUOSI IN FIDE in letters Or, broadened at the hilt, charged in chief with a leopards face proper; there-below a Jerusalem cross Or, there below a sheaf of five arrows debruised of a yoke, pendant from its sides two stringed tassels embowed wavy twice over each other, all Or.

Standard: In the hoist Or, in fess dexter an eagle displayed Sable, armed beaked and langued Gules, taloned Sable, charged upon its breast with the shield of arms of Giacomo Carasomma and sinister his sword badge duplicated in saltire; and on the fly between two ribands placed bendwise Argent, bearing the motto Pro Fide Catholica Et Honor Meus in letters Sable, first; Azure a Jerusalem cross Gules, fimbriated Or, second; Or, his crest namely: in front of a sheaf of five arrows inverted, a yoke, all Gules.

The Cerasomma family originates from the city-state of Lucca, and takes its surname from a place near the city. The first to use this surname was Notary Sir Bonaccorso of Simone in documents dated 1339.
