The
design of the
'Matrimonial and Family
Arms' of Darryn Carlo of
the Commonwealth of
Australia and longtime
resident of the Kingdom
of Spain, and Roberto
Luchoro of the Kingdom
of Spain, who were
married in Madrid on
Monday 11th March 2024,
represents their lives
together over nearly two
decades cumulating in
their union in marriage.
The elements from the
Arms of the most
significant places
associated with their
lives to date are as
follows:
The field of Green from
the Arms of Darryn's
hometown of Wagga Wagga
in New South Wales,
Australia, also
represents Roberto's
service in the Spanish
armed forces and the
Guardia Civil.
The Castle is taken from
the Arms of the City of
Alicante where Roberto
was born and from the
Arms of Tavelera de la
Reina and the
Merino Ram's Head from
the Arms of Wagga Wagga.
The red coloured door
and windows in the
castle is a reference to
the field of red in the
Arms of Tavelera de la
Reina.
The two wolves are taken
from the Arms of the
City of Bilbao in the
Basque Country where the
couple met and lived for
many years and the seven
stars are taken from the
flag of Madrid where
they currently live and
work.
The colours of Green,
White and the Red (shown
in the doors and windows
of the castle) are also
a subtle hint to place
where the newlyweds
spent their honeymoon.
The language of the
Motto, Latin, was chosen
to represent the shared
Latin heritage of the
couple. The meaning of
the motto 'Amor Non
Timet' is a powerful
statement in itself and
represents the strength
of the commitment, love
and bond shared by
Darryn and Roberto.

lugar donde, recién
casados, pasaron su luna
de miel.
El Lema es en Latín para
representar la herencia
latina compartida por la
pareja y su significado
