At the the very heart
of the shield stands a
stone tower, solid and
immovable, symbolising
resilience and protection.
It represents both a
stronghold and a home, a
place that is defended and
cherished.
Above the tower are three
golden crosses,
immediately drawing the
eye and establishing faith
and the Holy Trinity as
the central pillars of the
family’s identity. This
particular form of cross,
although based upon an
armorial cross crosslet,
mirrors a representation
of the Eastern Orthodox
cross. It reinforces a
spiritual tradition that
is both ancient and
authoritative.
The crest eagle, a bird of
prey, poised and watchful,
embodying vision,
independence, and power,
holds an open book, modest
in size but profound in
meaning, upon which are
placed the
letters Alpha and Omega,
signifying the beginning
and the end, a timeless
reminder that all things
exist under divine
authority. The book also
represents
knowledge, wisdom, and
perhaps sacred teaching,
hinting at a lineage that
values learning as much as
strength. Its open form
suggests that wisdom is
not only preserved,
protected, and passed down
carefully through
generations, but is also
open to all.
The motto, "Deus Nobiscum,
Quis Contra?”, serves as
the philosophical
foundation of the entire
composition. “If God is
with us, who can be
against us?” is not simply
a statement of belief, but
a declaration of
confidence and resolve. It
binds together all the
elements above it,
presenting a family
identity rooted in faith,
strengthened by loyalty
and wisdom, and upheld by
the conviction that divine
support ensures ultimate
victory.
Taken as a whole, the coat
of arms tells the story of
