The Arms of Frank
                                                Richard Gregg

The Ulster-Scots surname "Gregg" means "Vigilant". The motto of "Vigilance and Altruistic Unity" and the design of the shield reflects the concept of vigilance and the armiger’s Christian faith. The wings represent the service of the armiger in the US Air Force Auxiliary.

The Crest is a black griffin, symbolizing vigilance, strength and courage standing on a tower signifying vigilance. The griffin is displaying the Maltese Cross of the Order of St. John between its wings. As the armiger is a businessman, the helmet is a "tilting helmet", the "business" helmet of mounted warriors. The armiger’s badge is the crest of the arms.

The armiger’s ancestors include English Members of Parliament, Knights and Feudal Lords in England as well as American ancestors who served in the American Colonial Wars, American Revolution, War of 1812, the Union Army in the United States Civil War and World War II. He earned his wings and served as a Captain in the United States Air Force Auxiliary.

He is married to Robin Lynne Gregg and they have two children, Marcy Kate Gregg and Benjamin Richard Gregg. He has varied business interests and is a Vice-President for an international reinsurer.

He is an accomplished musician, a patron of the arts and various charities, a delegate of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and was appointed to The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, a Royal Order of Chivalry, by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II in 2013. He has been Lord of Camblesforth since 2015.
