was Andreas Kreuz (born
ca 1590, died December
29, 1666 Milevsko,
Kingdom of Bohemia); the
original name of the
family was "Krajic".
This old patrician
family owned several
different mills in the
Kingdom of Bohemia hence
the mill wheel in the
arms.
One of the ancestors -
Johannes Baptist Kreuz
Jr. (born May 24, 1722,
Sepekov, Kingdom of
Bohemia, died May 17,
1790 Stemechy, Kingdom
of Bohemia) was
"villicus" in the
service of Earl Rudolf
Chotek of Chotkov and
Vojnin,
Oberstlandkammerer.
The current senior
member of the family is
Mr. Lubomir Kreuz and
heir, or future head of
the family, is Mr.
Lubomir Marian Kreuz,
who lives in Prague.
