The armorial bearings represent a connection with the arms of Jean Bezines, granted in 1556 in Lyon France and depicts the armiger's ancestral family background of his paternal line stemming from Lyon and shows his relation to the Bezines family of France.

The armiger is a Member of the Augustan Society, Member and Patron of the American College of Heraldry and the International Monarchist League. Major Besinaiz serves with the United States Army as a Psychological Operation Officer.
